David Soares announced today that AARON DARE of Albany, NY, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison by the Honorable Dan Lamont. Construction Worked Arraigned for Attempted Murder– District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that JEREMY E. PLOUFFE, 31, of Petersburgh, NY, was arraigned on (1) count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “ B” Felony , (1) count of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class “ D” Felony and (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor in front of the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin. PLOUFFE pleaded not guilty and was released on $30,000 bail. PLOUFFE faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of the charges. |

16 Year Old Pleads Guilty to Gun Possession – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that TASHAWN TARVER, 16, of Albany, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “D” Felony in front of the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin. Under the terms of the plea bargain, TARVER faces a maximum of 3 years in prison and 2 years post release supervision when sentenced on October 31, 2008. |

Two Men Indicted for Stealing Safe and $2 Million from Greenbush Tape in 2003– District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DWAYNE TOLLIVER of Albany, NY, and LOMA HAYNES of Albany, NY, were indicted by the Grand Jury for the theft of more than $2 million in 2003. TOLLIVER was indicted on (1) count of Grand Larceny in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony and (1) count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony. HAYNES was indicted on (1) count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony. Both face up to 25 years in prison if convicted of the charges. |

David Soares announced today that GLEN STEPHANOS was sentenced to five years probation and must forfeit $350,000 by the Honorable Dan Lamont. In March, Stephanos pled guilty to (1) count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a Class “D” Felony. As part of the plea bargain, STEPHANOS must testify truthfully about his participation in the illegal distribution ring of controlled substances at any future court proceedings. |
