Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares David Paradise Indicted for Murder ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DAVID ALLEN PARADISE, 30, of 6 Lansing Lane , Cohoes , NY was indicted on one count of Murder in the 2 nd Degree. The Indictment alleges that between the evening hours of September 17, 2005 and the early morning hours of September 18, 2005 , PARADISE caused the death of his wife, Melissa Moran-Paradise by stabbing her repeatedly in the head, neck, and body. PARADISE was arrested on September 19, 2005 , after he turned himself into and gave a statement to the NYS Police Barracks in Malone NY and the particulars of the statement were confirmed by Officers of the Cohoes Police Department.
