Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Jerome Williams Gets 15 Years for Arson ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that JEROME WILLIAMS, 49, of 115 Grand Street , Albany , NY has been sentenced yesterday to 15 years in State prison and five years of Post Release Supervision by the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick. WILLIAMS was accused of intentionally starting a fire in 90 Third Street in Albany on Sunday, October 31, 2004 by lighting a news paper and placing it by the wall in the guest room of the first floor of the building causing the building to burn and causing a grave risk to other occupants in the building including a mother and two children.
