Office of the District Attorney Father Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter in Death of Infant ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that GREGORY MILGO, 29, of Albany, NY, plead guilty to (1) count of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony in front of the Honorable Dan Lamont. In accordance with the plea bargain, MILGO faces 18 years in prison when sentenced in November. Between May 1, 2008 and May 13, 2008, GREGORY MILGO caused the death of his infant son, born approximately three months prematurely, by repeatedly and vigorously shaking the infant, which caused brain hemorrhaging. Additionally, MILGO failed to seek prompt and adequate medical assistance for the infant after infliction of these injuries.
