Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Full Restitution for Ultimate Cheer Booster Club ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced that ELAINE A. BAILEY, 48, OF 87 Frederick Avenue , Colonie , NY today provided a check for $20,000 in full restitution to the Ultimate Cheer Booster Club. BAILEY was also sentenced to five years probation and 90 days of Community Service by the Honorable Joseph C. Teresi. BAILEY had been the Treasurer of the cheerleading organization based in Colonie and had admitted to having embezzled the $20,000. DA Soares was relieved with the outcome. “In cases such as this, it is very often very difficult to recover the lost funds, getting this money back into the account of the Ultimate Boosters account should give everyone something to cheer about,” he said.
