Office of the District Attorney DA Soares Welcomes Three New Lawyers ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that three former interns from the Albany Law School Internship Program passed the Bar Exam and are the newest members of the Office of the Albany County Assistant District Attorney. “I am both pleased and honored that Kurt, Matt and Joe chose to begin their careers here in the Albany County District Attorneys Office. Each of them worked extremely hard as interns during law school, and after graduation continued to support the office while studying for the bar. I applaud them for their outstanding efforts and look forward to their continued successes as official members of our team,” commented DA Soares. Kurt Haas, 26, of Chestnut Ridge, NY, Matt Hauf, Delmar, 28, of Albany, NY, and Joe Hourigan, 29, of Albany, NY, began interning with the DA’s Office while attending Albany Law School. They graduated from Albany Law last spring and continued working for the Office while studying for the bar and waiting for the exam scores.
