ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced the plea agreement of CANDICE LAMBERT a/k/a CANDICE BIRCH, 41 of Hollis, NH. LAMBERT plead to (1) Count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class "D" Felony.

With the plea, LAMBERT faces a sentence of 1-3 years. Sentencing will be January 23, 2007.

DA Soares stated "CANDICE LAMBERT preyed upon the wonderful community of Cohoes, who embraced her apparent sickness with open arms and generosity, Ms. LAMBERT will now have significant time to fully understand her hurtful actions and lies."

Chris Baynes, Assistant District Attorney of the White Collar Unit handed this case.
