DA Soares pointed out that there is reason to believe that these defendants have engaged in a business of breaking, entering and stealing for years and that a great many properties have been burglarized by this gang. He complimented the responsible citizen who called in the complaint. “Here was a case when a concerned citizen reported some questionable activity and had the insight to spot a license plate number and write it down. The result is that many fellow citizens will be spared the pain and suffering that stems from having their homes broken into and ransacked. This is why we need alert, active, responsible citizens to support our efforts to fight crime. The concerned citizen is now, and will always be, the first line of defense against crime,” he said.
