Known Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty to Possession, Forfiets Drug Proceeds and BMW – Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that RICKY DURHAM, 39, of Albany, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the Second Degree, a Class “D” Felony, in front of the Honorable Thomas Breslin. DURHAM faces a cap of 3 years in prison when sentenced on July 7, 2008. Additionally, DURHAM must forfeit $49,000 and his vehicle, a BMW.

Albany Man Gets 17 Years For Rape - District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that EDWARD FIRST, 36, of Myrtle Ave, Albany, NY, was sentenced to 17 years in prison. In February, FIRST pled guilty to (1) count of Rape in the First Degree, a Class “ B ” Felony.

Internet Predator Caught in NYSP Online Sting Operation Sent to Prison - District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that JOSEPH LANSING, 50, of Colonie, NY, was sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison and ten years post release supervision by the Honorable Thomas Breslin. In March, LANSING pled guilty to (1) count of Attempted Disseminating Indecent Materials to Minors in the First degree, a Class “ E ” Felony.

Albany Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Drug and Gun Possession– District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that ANTHONY LEWIS, 47, of Albany, NY, was sentenced to ten years in prison and two years post release supervision by the Honorable Thomas Breslin. On March 11, 2008, LEWIS pled guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class “B” Felony. This is LEWIS’ fifth felony conviction.

Man Pleads Guilty to Hiding Gun in Infant Crib - District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that WILLIAM RODRIGUEZ, 30, of Second Street in Albany, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “ C ” Felony in front of the Honorable Thomas Breslin. RODRIGUEZ faces no more than 5 years in prison and 5 years post release supervision when sentenced in July. RODRIGUEZ must also sign a no contact order of protection for the victim and her children.

Albany Man Gets 9 Years After Fingerprint Found at Scene - District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that ROBERT DEMPSEY, 42, of Orange Street, Albany, NY, was sentenced to 9 years in prison and 5 years post release supervision as a second felony offender by the Honorable Dan Lamont. In April, DEMPSEY pled guilty to (1) count of Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class “ C ” Violent Felony. DEMPSEY was previously convicted of the crime Attempted Burglary in the Third Degree in March 2002.

David Soares today announced that STANLEY FELICIANO, 14, of Albany, NY, and RACHELLE LIPSCOMB, 14, of Albany, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Robbery in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony, in front of the Honorable Thomas Breslin. Under the terms of the plea bargain, LIPSCOMB and FELICIANO will receive 1 to 3 years incarceration when sentenced on May 14, 2008.

David Soares today announced that GREGORY MILGO, 29, of Albany, NY, was indicted by the Grand Jury on nine counts including; (1) count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Felony, (1) count of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony, (1) count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Felony, (4) counts of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class “D” Felony, and (2) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class “A” Misdemeanor. MILGO faces 25 years to life in prison.

MILGO faces 25 years to life in prison and was remanded into the custody of the Albany County Sheriff.
