Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Terrence Anthony Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that TERRENCE ANTHONY, 26, of Yates Street, Albany, NY was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Honorable Dan Lamont. ANTHONY pled guilty to (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, a class “C” Felony, in exchange for ten years in prison with the condition that the sentence would be reduced to eight years if ANTHONY cooperated in recovering the gun used in the shooting. In the early hours of August 30, 2006 in the vicinity of 52 Clinton Avenue, Albany, NY, TERRANCE ANTHONY did intentionally prevent a police officer from performing a lawful investigation causing physical injury.
