ALBANY, NY –  District Attorney P. David Soares today announced the indictment of ROBERT TRACY, 25, of Scotia, NY on three counts of Robbery in the Third Degree.

The Indictments allege that between the 10 th day of September and the 26 th day of October in 2004, TRACY committed three separate bank robberies using the same Modus Operandi in the towns of Guilderland and Colonie and the City of Albany. This case is a case in point. Here, TRACY carefully traveled around the region before he was caught.”

Soares also thanked the victim banks for their cooperation. “I realize that it can be time consuming and expensive to participate in these prosecutions, but it is vitally important that all victims honor their public trust and fully cooperate with the prosecution,” he said. “We all benefit when these criminals are taken off the street,” he added.

If convicted on all three charges, TRACY faces up to 21years in prison.

TRACY will be arraigned in Albany County Court on Friday, June 3 rd, 2005.
