NYS Legislative Assistant Charged Pleads Guilty to Stealing Insurance Benefits – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DIANE GAMBLE, 61, of Watervliet, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class “D” Felony. In accordance with the plea bargain, GAMBLE faces 1 2/3 to 5 years in prison when sentenced on May 8. 2009.

Troy Man Receives Max for Leaving Friend on Side of Road After Fatal Accident – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DARREN BIANCO, 36, of Troy, NY, was sentenced to the max of 2 1/3 to 7 years in prison by the Honorable Thomas Breslin. In January, BIANCO was found guilty after a jury trial of (1) count of Leaving the Scene of an Incident Without Reporting as a Felony, a Class “D” Felony.

Raysomon Jackson Indicted for Murder of Man Found in Abandoned Building – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that RAYSOMON JACKSON, 24, of Albany, NY, was indicted by the Grand Jury on four counts including; (1) count of Murder in the First Degree, a Class “A-1” Felony, (1) count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Felony, (1) count of Robbery in the First Degree, a Class “B” Violent Felony and (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Armed, Violent Felony. JACKSON faces 25 years to life in prison.
