Sentencing of Pedophile

ALBANY, NY –  District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that JAMES SALERNO, 46, of  2617 Third Avenue, Colonie, NY will be sentenced tomorrow before the Honorable Dan Lamont tomorrow.

SALERNO confessed to having engaged in a pattern over the past several years of rape and sodomy with a group of young girls for whom he was a figure of great authority.

SALERNO faces 20 years in State prison.  

 The case was handled by Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Bauscher.
