Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Conviction of Harold Johnson ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced the conviction of HAROLD JOHNSON, 44, of 2 nd Street, Albany, NY on one count of assault and one count of criminal trespass after a trial before the Honorable Joseph C. Teresi. The jury found that JOHNSON was guilty of entering the victim’s apartment and beating her repeatedly in the face, head, and/or body with a hammer causing multiple contusions and lacerations along with substantial pain and swelling at about 5:20 A. M. on January 2 nd, 2005. JOHNSON faces three to seven years, determinate. The people were represented by Shannon Kearney-Sarfoh.
