6/30/05 Sentencing of Pedophile – James Salerno, 46, of Colonie, confessed to having engaged in a pattern over the past several years of rape and sodomy with a group of young girls for whom he was a figure of great authority. View
6/28/05 Earl Pittman Pleas to Two Crimes – Earl Pittman, 24, of Albany, plead guilty to one count of the Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He also entered into a Superior Court Information (SCI) plea for one count of Robbery in the 2nd Degree. He faces eight years for the robbery and four to eight years on the Possession charge. The two terms will be served concurrently. View
6/28/05 Dominique Devan Fields Indicted for Attempted Murder - Dominique Devan Fields, 19, of Albany, was indicted on ten counts including Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second and Third Degrees, four counts of Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. If convicted on all counts, Fields faces a term of 25 years to life in prison. View
6/24/05 Public Integrity Unit Indicts Under Identity Theft Law – DA Soares announced the Office’s Public Integrity Unit had secured its first indictment under the State’s new Identity Theft Statute. Elizabeth Ann Burbage, 22, of Albany, was indicted on one count of Identity Theft in the First Degree and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. View

Thomas Cronin Guilty of Petit Larceny – Thomas Cronin, 52, of Ballston Lake, plead guilty to one count of petit larceny and had agreed to full restitution to three victims.

In addition, Darnell Ellis was sentenced to 4 ½ to 9 years for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. View
