7/7/06 Soares Announces Plea in Elnor Thomas – Elnor Thomas of Albany, NY, was sentenced to (1) count of Assault in the Second Degree, a class “D” Felony. Thomas was sentenced to 6 years in state prison and 3 years post release in front of the Hon. Stephen Herrick. View
7/10/06 6 Count Indictment of Albany Child Abuser Faces 25 years Malcolm J. Stokes, 18, of 29 Morris Street, Albany, NY on two (2) counts of Assault in the First Degree, a class “B” felony,  three (3) counts of Assault in the Second Degree, a class “D” Felony and endangering the welfare of a child. 7/11/06 Guilty Plea for Allan Oliver - Allan Oliver, 20, of 90 Morton Avenue, Albany, NY has plead guilty to all 4 counts of the original indictment.  The Four Counts include two (2) counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a Class “B” Felony, One (1) count of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Class “C” Felony, and Criminally Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. 7/13/06 Manslaughter and DWI for Brendan OíConnell and Thomas LaFore Brendan O’Connell, 35, of 667 White Mills Road, Chatham, NY has plead to the top charge of Manslaughter in the 2nd Degree, a class “C” Felony  and one (1) count of DWI.   View
