Darius Ashley Arraignment  

ALBANY, NY –  District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that the arraignment for DARIUS ASHLEY, 29, of 128 Hamilton Street, Albany, NY on two counts including Rape in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3 rd Degree is scheduled to take place on Monday July 25, 2005 before the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin.

The Indictment alleges that on or about the 10 th day of July, 2005, in the early morning hours ASHLEY did engage in sexual intercourse with another person through forcible compulsion in that he threatened his victim with a knife.

ASHLEY is considered a subject in several other rape cases.
