Delmar Man Arraigned for Possession of Cocaine, Oxycodone, Ecstasy and Xanex

ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that MATTHEW SCHILLINGER, 21, of Delmar, NY, was arraigned by the Honorable Daniel Lamont on (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class “B” Felony, (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a Class “C” Felony, (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, (1) count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor and (1) count of Unlawful Possession of Radio Devices, a Class “B” Misdemeanor. SCHILLINGER pled not guilty and faces 1 to 9 years in prison.

The indictment alleges that September 27, 2007 at approximately 7:34 P.M. at 7 Snowden Avenue in the Hamlet of Delmar, SCHILLINGER did knowingly posses a hand held Radio Shack programmable scanner capable of receiving police transmission while also in possession of cocaine which had an aggregate weight of 39.65 grams, some of which was packaged in individual plastic bags, 16 Oxycodone pills, weighing a total of 4 grams, a quantity of Ecstasy, one Xanex pill, cash and two digital scales.
