Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Thomas Lee Faces 25 on Burglary, Robbery, and Weapons Charges ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that THOMAS LEE, 38, of 384 1 ST Street, Albany, NY was indicted on 6 counts including Burglary in the 1 st Degree, Robbery in the 1 st Degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm in the 2 nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2 nd Degree and 3 rd Degrees, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the 1 st Degree. He will be arraigned Friday, January 20, 2006 . If convicted on all charges, LEE faces a possible 25 years in state prison. The indictment alleges that on or about the 21 st day of November, 2005 at 164 Second Street in the City of Albany, NY, LEE broke into a dwelling with the intent to commit a crime while possessing a loaded .357 magnum revolver. At that time, he threatened his victim with a gun, held him down and beat him around the head and face with his revolver. He then proceeded to rob the victim of an amount of US currency District Attorney Soares noted that this was a particularly vicious home invasion that had the potential to end tragically. “The defendant entered this apartment with bad intentions and the victim is lucky to be alive.
