Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Robert Perrin Indicted On Weapons Charges ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that ROBERT PERRIN, 17, of 245 Northern Boulevard , Albany , NY was indicted on counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2 nd and 3 rd Degrees. The indictment alleges that on or about the 5 th day of January, 2006 in the area of 29 Kent Street , in the City of Albany, NY, PERRIN did possess a loaded firearm with the intent to use it to cause harm to another person. District Attorney Soares noted that there were only five days between the arrest and the indictment. “Operation Speeding Bullet is one of the tools that we are using to combat gun violence. We prioritize all gun cases so that defendants in gun crimes are taken off the streets as soon as possible. To indict a case in five days is extraordinary” Soares said.
