Arraignment of Marquell Threatt and Kasiem King on Weapons Possessions Charges

ALBANY, NY –  Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that the arraignments of MARQUELL THREATT and KASIEM KING would take place Wednesday, 2/23/05 before the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick.

The Indictment alleges that on December 24 th, 2004, at approximately 3:45 A. M at Sheridan and Lexington Avenues in the City of Albany the defendants both possessed loaded handguns with the intent to use them. The two defendants participated in a shoot-out in which THREATT shot himself in the leg while attempting to free the gun to fire it at a third party.
