Soares Warns Public to Guard Against Auto Theft – two separate incidents involving auto theft prompted DA Soares to announce the need for public awareness on the matter. Both cases had common factors: the keys were left in the ignition and the cars were running. He emphasizes that leaving the car running – even if it’s for a short time – while it’s not attended is a bad idea.

2/1/05 Deidre Keene indicted on four counts – Deidre Keene, 43, of Albany, faces four charges, including: Assault in the First and Second Degrees, Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. If convicted, Keene faces up to 25 years in prison. View
