Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares GERMAN LAMBERT Arraigned on Rape Charges Faces 25 Years ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced that GERMAN LAMBERT, 18 of Bethlehem, NY has been arrested under a sealed indictment and arraigned on the charges of having committed a Criminal Sexual Act in the 1 st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child before the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick. The indictment alleges that on or about the 13 th day of October, 2005, LAMBERT forcibly committed an act of rape with an underage female victim. The defendant was also arraigned in front of Judge Herrick sitting as a local court judge on 5 other misdemeanor charges involving another 14 year old victim. DA Soares lamented the loss of another young person. “I hope that kids will look at this case and get the message that force plus sex equals terrible consequences,” he said.
