HIGGINS Sentencing

ALBANY, NY –  The sentencing of MARTING HIGGINS will take place tomorrow morning before the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin. HIGGINS faces a term of 20 to life on a charge of Murder in the 2 nd Degree.

HIGGINS was charged with causing the death of Andrew Van Wie by shooting the victim in the head with a rifle at approximately 5:00 AM on or about the 13 th day of May, 2005 at 761 Myrtle Avenue, Albany, NY.
