Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares 15-Year-Old Arraigned on Sealed Indictment for Murder of Albany Man ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DWAYNE WRIGHT, 32, of Brooklyn, NY, and KYMEIR TURNER, 15, of Albany, NY, were indicted Wednesday by the Grand Jury on (2) counts of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Violent Felony, and (1) count of Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony. TURNER was arraigned on the sealed indictment today before the Honorable Stephen Herrick, and was remanded into the custody of the Albany County Sheriff for transportation to a juvenile detention facility. A conference is scheduled for September 10, 2009. The indictment alleges that on August 9, 2009 at approximately 2:50 A.M., at 158 Western Avenue, WRIGHT and TURNER caused the death of Henry Ferrell by shooting him with a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun. WRIGHT is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, August 31, 2009. Major Crimes Bureau Chief Bruce Lennard is handling the prosecution of this case.
