Colonie Bank Robber Pleads Guilty – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DANIEL C. FREELAND, 62, of Baltimore, MD pleaded guilty before the Honorable Dan Lamont in Albany County Supreme Court to (1) count of Robbery in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony, in satisfaction of a December 23, 2008, indictment charging him with (1) count of Robbery in the First Degree, (1) count of Robbery in the Second Degree, (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, and (1) count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Albany Man Pleads Guilty to Cabbie Robbery – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DAVID BARNETT, 21, of 123 LIVINGSTON AVENUE, ALBANY, NY, pleaded guilty before the Honorable Dan Lamont in Albany County Supreme Court to one count of Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony, in satisfaction of a January 13, 2008, indictment charging him with (1) count of  Robbery in the First Degree, (1) count of  Robbery in the Second Degree, (1) count of  Criminal Possession of stolen Property in the Fourth Degree and (1) count of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree.

Breslin in Albany County Court to one count of Attempted Burglary in the First Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony, in satisfaction of a November 14, 2008, indictment charging him with (2) counts of  Burglary in the Second Degree, (1) count of  Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, (1) count of  Attempted Robbery in the Second Degree, (1) count of  Assault in the Second Degree, and (1) count of  Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree.
