Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Daytwaun Minter Arraigned on Nine Counts ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DAYTWAUN C. MINTER, 22, of 263 Western Avenue, Albany, NY, was arraigned in front of Honorable Dan Lamont on (1) count of Attempted Robbery in the 1st Degree, (2) counts of Robbery in the 2nd Degree, (2) counts of Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, (1) count of Petit Larceny and (1) count of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. MINTER faces up to 75 years in prison. The indictment alleges that on March 27, 2007 at approximately 12:38 p.m., MINTER attempted to rob J&J Outdoor Sports Gun Store, located in Cosimos Plaza at 1800 Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland while possessing a loaded Savage Arms Rifle. MINTER is also accused of forcibly stealing over $3,000 from the Key Bank located at 2 Colvin Avenue in the City of Albany while displaying a weapon on two separate occasions, March 9, 2007 at approximately 11:50 p.m. and February 20, 2007 at approximately 2:48 p.m. Additionally, MINTER is charged with stealing more than $1000 from the Citizens Bank located at 10 North Pearl Street in the City of Albany while displaying a weapon on two separate occasions, November 20, 2006 at approximately 6:04 p.m. and November 30, 2006 at approximately 6:17 p.m. MINTER was remanded to the custody of the Albany County Sheriff without bail.
