Resolution in April 2020 Fatal 

Clinton Avenue Stabbing Case

ALBANY, NY -  District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that FRANCISCO ROSARIO, 27, of Albany, pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony, before the Honorable Roger D. McDonough in Albany County Court this afternoon for his alleged role in a fatal stabbing that took place on April 19, 2020.

On April 19, 2020, while in a residence on Clinton Avenue in the City of Albany, ROSARIO recklessly caused the death of a 27-year-old man that was known to him by means of stabbing him with a deadly instrument. ROSARIO was allegedly at the residence with an individual he was ordered to stay away from through a previous duly ordered No Contact Order of Protection.

ROSARIO faces up to (10) years in State Prison when sentenced on July 16, 2021.

Assistant District Attorney David Szalda and Executive Assistant District Attorney Jennifer McCanney handled the prosecution of this case.
