ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that CHRISTOPHER RODRIGUEZ, 30, of Albany, was sentenced to (6) years in State Prison, to be followed by (5) years of Post-Release Supervision, before the Honorable Andra Ackerman yesterday in Albany County Court.
On February 18, 2020, RODRIGUEZ pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Robbery in the Second Degree, a Class C Armed Violent Felony, for his role in an armed robbery of a Guilderland gas station.

On November 11, 2019, at approximately 10:40 P.M., at the Mobil at 1667 Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland, RODRIGUEZ displayed what appeared to be a firearm and aimed it at a store clerk. RODRIGUEZ demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk and then fled on foot. RODRIGUEZ was arrested for this robbery after allegedly committing a separate gunpoint robbery in Schenectady County in November 2019.
