 Alleged Shooter Indicted In 


Second Street and Judson Street Homicide Case



  

ALBANY, NY -  District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that QUINTIN LACY, 30, of Albany, was indicted by an Albany County Grand Jury on charges relating to a December 2019 homicide that took place in the area of Second Street and Judson Street in the City of Albany.

LACY was arraigned this morning before the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin in Albany County Court. An Albany County Grand Jury previously returned an indictment alleging LACY committed (1) Count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class A-I Felony, and (1) Count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class C Armed Violent Felony.

The indictment alleges that on December 7, 2019, at approximately 10:48 AM, while in the area of Second Street and Judson Street, LACY did intentionally cause the death of the victim by means of shooting him with a gun. Specifically, LACY intentionally caused the death of Ahmad Fleming by means of shooting him in the torso. The victim was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

LACY remains in custody at this time and no new appearance dates have been scheduled by the Court.
