  Sousie Sentenced in Cohoes Burglary Case


ALBANY, NY - District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that ANDY SOUSIE, 32, of Troy, was sentenced to 5 years in State Prison, to be followed by 5 years of Post- Release Supervision, before the Honorable William A. Carter in Albany County Court this morning.

On November 8, 2018, SOUSIE pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class D Violent Felony.

On August 5, 2018, SOUSIE, personally or in concert with another person or persons, unlawfully entered a residence on Remsen Street in the City of Cohoes in an attempt to commit the crime of Burglary in the Second Degree.

Assistant District Attorney David Szalda handled the prosecution of this case.
