Jobs/Internships The Albany County District Attorney’s Office is one of the busiest prosecutor's offices in Upstate New York, serving thousands of residents in the ethnically and culturally diverse Albany County, New York. Led by District Attorney P. David Soares, the office is a partner with the Albany Community and other law enforcement agencies. Application Process: Interested applicants should forward a cover letter, resume, writing sample and statement of interest. Your statement of interest should illustrate your reason for seeking a position in public service with our office as well as information about your academic experience both inside and outside of the classroom. Once we have received your information we will review it to determine advancement to the next phase. The following phase includes Executive Interviews, which could be with an individual or a panel of two or more. The final phase is an interview with District Attorney David Soares. Students with any major may apply. College internships are unsalaried.
