In July 2006, the Office of the District Attorney opened its first field office at 289 Clinton Avenue. This office will be used as a home base for a variety of ongoing contacts with community leaders, neighborhood watch organizations, landlords and other interested parties. Expanding and institutionalizing the cooperative relationships between members of the community and members of the criminal justice system. This office should significantly improve the information available and community relations with law enforcement and will result in more effective prosecution.
