ALBANY, NY - National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, April 10-16, is a time to honor crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. This year in observance of National Crime Victims' Rights Week the City and County of Albany’s Ceremony of Remembrance will be held on Thursday April 14 at Noon. The ceremony will take place in Academy Park on the corner of Elk Street and Eagle Street in Albany. The theme of this year’s event is “Serving Victims, Building Trust, Restoring Hope.” The ceremony is presented by the Office of the Albany County District Attorney, Albany County Stop DWI, City of Albany Police Department, Albany County Sheriff’s Office, and the Michele E. Martin Memorial Trust. All are welcome to attend this ceremony, in addition to events hosted throughout the region this month.
