Man Sentenced after Using Fake Credit Cards 





ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that TRACEY WORLEY, 49, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 2 ½-5 years in State Prison before the Honorable Judge Thomas Breslin in Albany County Court this morning.

On August 2, 2015, WORLEY pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Forgery in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony.

On September 10, 2014, at approximately 1:32 p.m. at the Wal-Mart located on Washington Avenue Extension, WORLEY was seen on video using a stolen credit card. WORLEY attempted to use another stolen credit card at Rite-Aid. He was later pulled over and found with a bag of gift cards purchased at Wal-Mart. Also found in the vehicle were additional stolen debit cards and a checkbook. The stolen cards had been taken from the victim at the Standard Restaurant.

Assistant District Attorney Jessica Blain-Lewis of the Financial Crimes Unit prosecuted this case.
