Couple Indicted on Alleged Million Dollar 

Tax Fraud 


ALBANY, NY- District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that DAVID WALSH, 57, and GIA WALSH, 50 , of Bronxville, NY, were arraigned on (3) Counts of Criminal Tax Fraud in the Second Degree, all Class C Felonies, before the Honorable Roger D. McDonough in Albany County Supreme Court today. 

The indictment that was unsealed in court today alleges that DAVID and GIA WALSH failed to pay the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in excess of $1.5 million from 2014 through 2016.

According to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance website, the couple are listed #41 on the New York State top 250 delinquent taxpayers

Both DAVID and GIA WALSH pleaded not guilty to the charges today in Court. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 and was posted by each defendant. No new appearance dates have been scheduled by the Court at this time.

GIA WALSH is represented by James Druker and DAVID WALSH is represented by Scott Druker, both attorneys of the Kase and Druker Law Firm.

Assistant District Attorney Benjamin Mastaitis of the Financial Crimes Unit is handling the prosecution of this case.
