Frontpage: Man Convicted of Patronizing and Assaulting a Prostitute





 

ALBANY, NY - District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that DARRYL FORD, 33, of New Baltimore, NY, pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Attempted Assault in the Third Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor, and (1) Count of Patronizing a Prostitute, a Class A Misdemeanor, before the Honorable Judge Bailey in Guilderland Town Court on August 14, 2014.

On April 10, 2014, at a motel on Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland, FORD did patronize a prostitute.  FORD also struck the female during the incident.  

FORD faces court fines of $500 for each count, in addition to court fees of $205, and $100 in DNA databank fees when sentenced on October 30, 2014.

Assistant District Attorney Chantelle Cleary of the Special Victims Unit and Guilderland Town Court prosecutor Stephanie Richter prosecuted this case.
