ALBANY – Albany County District Attorney David Soares will be attending several ENOUGH Program supported presentations of the ‘Music Mobile’ around Albany County over the next few weeks. The District Attorney will be joined at each location by Community Leaders during Music Mobile's "Room For Us All: Building Safe Communities Together" peacemaking programs.
The colorful Music Mobile and its team of musicians will travel to 5 municipalities in Albany County to present fun-filled singing and instrument-building programs for children. All children will be given a free copy of the ten-song CD and booklet, "Room For Us All." Sponsored by the Albany County District Attorney’s Office as part of its ENOUGH initiative, children will learn about cooperation, respect, getting along, non-violence, and civic responsibility. Geared for families, public housing sites and the general public, the children will explore ways that they can be responsible and engaged members of their families, schools, and local and global communities.
The ENOUGH Programs are supported through the District Attorney’s ‘Making Crime Pay’ initiative. ‘Making Crime Pay’ is a program designed to deter crime by depriving criminals of the profits and proceeds of their illegal activities and then using those ill-gotten gains to support law enforcement, prevention, education and public safety initiatives throughout the county.
