Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Delores Dober Pleads Guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DELORES DOBER, XX of 1638 Helderberg Trail, Berne , NY pled guilty to (1) count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, in front of the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick. DOBER faces up to one year in prison. Between April 7, 2007 , and May 7, 2007 , at 1638 Helderberg Trail in the Town of Berne , DELORES DOBER failed or refused to exercise reasonable diligence to prevent a child less than 17 years old from becoming an “abused” or “neglected” child, as those terms are defined in Article 10 of the Family Court Act. ADA Christina Nolan from the Special Victims Unit handled the prosecution of this case.
