16-Year-Old Pleads Guilty to Beating and Car Jacking of Former Nun ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that ANTHONY MICHAEL LOGUE, 16, of Saratoga Springs , NY pled guilty to (1) count of Robbery in the 1 st Degree. Under the terms of the plea bargain, LOGUE is expected to serve 7 ½ years in prison. On May 27, 2007 , LOGUE asked a female victim for a ride from the Price Chopper parking lot on Madison Avenue to Clinton Avenue . Once they arrived at the location where LOGUE indicated he lived, LOGUE opened the door, grabbed a rock from the sidewalk, struck the victim in the head twice, and stated, “I just need the car.” LOGUE then asked the victim for money and the victim got out of the car. LOGUE left the victim on Clinton Avenue and drove the car to Lake George where he eventually crashed it into a pole. The car was found by police with several of LOGUE’s belongings inside, including his wallet with the victim’s credit card next to his license. “Thankfully this victim is on the road to recovery, but the actions of this defendant are severely disturbing. He took advantage of a generous woman who was only trying to help him and as a result, will now spend the next several years behind bars thinking about the terrible decisions he made,” commented DA Soares. ADA Bradley Sherman from the Major Offense Bureau handled the prosecution of this case.# # # For further information contact: Heather Streeter Orth
