Stephen Wieland, SR Pleads Guilty to Larceny ALBANY , NY – Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that STEPHEN WIELAND, SR, of Bethlehem, NY, pled guilty to (1) count of Petit Larceny, a Class “A” Misdemeanor. In accordance with the plea, WIELAND paid restitution and fines and resigned from his Company Chief position at the Selkirk Fire Department. Between January 1, 2005 and March 2, 2007, in the Town of Bethlehem, WIELAND did wrongfully take a Mobil Speedpass, which was linked to an Exxon Mobil gasoline charge account in the name of the Selkirk Fire Department, from Selkirk Fire Company No. 2, to wrongfully purchase gasoline for use in his personally owned vehicle. “I would like to thank the Selkirk Fire Department for their continued assistance in the investigation and prosecution of this case.
