Cobleskill Man Found Guilty of Key Bank Robbery – Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that RANDOLPH MASON, 41, of Cobleskill, NY, was found guilty of (1) count of Robbery in the First Degree, a Class “B” Violent Felony, and (2) counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a Class “E” Felony, in front of the Honorable Judge Dan Lamont.

Father Sentenced to 19 Years in Prison for Killing Son – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that GLENN VOSBURGH, 44, of Coeymans, NY, was sentenced to 19 years in prison and 5 years post release supervision by the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick. In August, VOSBURGH pled guilty to (1) count of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class “B” Violent Felony.

Two Indicted for '07 Christmas Eve Murder of Albany Man – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that MARCUS ROBERTS, 31, of Albany, NY, and RASHAD NICHOLSON, 18, of Albany , NY, were indicted by the Grand Jury on a sealed indictment consisting of (2) counts of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Violent Felony, and (1) count of Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony. Additionally, ROBERTS was indicted on (1) count of Murder in the First Degree, a Class “A-1” Violent Felony. The indictment was unsealed by the Honorable Dan Lamont and both defendants face life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted of the charges.

Albany Drug Dealer Found Guilty After Attempting “Pastor Charlie Defense” – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that TITUS DAWSON, 26, of Albany, NY, was found guilty after a jury trial before the Honorable Dan Lamont of (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class “D” Felony.
