Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Bronx Man Found Guilty of Selling Drugs in Colonie ALBANY , NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that OMARI WILKINS, 25, of Bronx, NY, was found guilty after a jury trial of (1) count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class “B” Felony in front of the Honorable Stephen W. Herrick. WILKINS faces up to 9 years in prison when sentenced on May 14, 2009. On February 12, 2008, at approximately 5:33 P.M., on Troy Schenectady Road in the Town of Colonie, WILKINS sold $300 worth of crack cocaine to an undercover investigator. WILKINS delivered the drugs directly to the investigator after a confidential informant placed a call ordering the crack.
