Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares T Glen Vosburgh Indicted for Murder of Son ALBANY, NY – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that GLEN VOSBURGH, 45, of Coeymans, NY, was indicted by the Grand Jury on four counts including; (1) count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Felony, (1) count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” Felony, (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Armed Felony, and (1) count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. VOSBURGH faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the charges. The indictment alleges that on March 16, 2009, at 1934 Route 9W in the Town of Coeymans, GLEN VOSBURGH caused the death of his son, Craig Vosburgh, by shooting him in the back with a loaded Luger, 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Additionally, GLEN VOSBURGH was illegally in possession of a quantity of marijuana inside his home. VOSBURGH is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.
