COHOES MAN SENTENCED TO 7 YEARS FOR KIDNAPPING – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that MICHAEL MARKS, 51, of FOX HOLLOW SQUARE in COHOES, NY, was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Honorable Stephen Herrick. In May, MARKS pled guilty to (1) count of Attempted Kidnapping in the First Degree, a Class “C” Felony.

Woman Receives 4 Years for Assaulting Police Officer – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DANIELLE NISSELBACK, 26, of Cohoes, NY, was sentenced to 4 years in state prison by the Honorable Thomas Breslin. In May, NISSELBACK was found guilty after a jury trial of (1) count of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class “D” Violent Felony.

Bank Robber Will Spend Next Decade in Prison – District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that DANIEL C. FREELAND, 62, of Baltimore, MD was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years post release supervision by the Honorable Dan Lamont in Albany County Supreme Court. In April, FREELAND pled guilty to (1) count of Robbery in the Second Degree, a Class “C” Violent Felony.
