Office of the District Attorney P. David Soares Third M.D. in ‘Operation Which Doctor’ Pleads Guilty ALBANY, NY – Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that ROBERT CARLSON, 50, of Sarasota, FL, pled guilty to (1) Count of Insurance Fraud in the 4th Degree, a Class “E” Felony, before the Honorable Daniel Lamont. CARLSON faces 5 years of probation and will forfeit $300,000. On or about November 21, 2006, at 11 Corporate Woods Blvd., Albany, CARLSON did knowingly provide false information in the form of a bogus prescription which was then used to claim reimbursement from Blue Cross/Blue Shield for a prescription. “Another doctor that made a conscious choice to part ways with their oath has pled guilty today. This is another very significant plea that provides a ninth witness who will cooperate fully in the cases against both Signature Pharmacy and Palm Beach Rejuvenation,” commented DA Soares.
